About Raising4Boys

Hello and welcome. We’re “mom” and “dad”, and we run this place. We created Raising4Boys as a place to share our thoughts on raising kids and being a family. We’ve been doing this since January 1, 2006.

A bit of background…

We’ve been married for over ten years (wow, time sure does fly!), we’ve lived in three states (one of them twice), and we have four wonderful boys. Our oldest was born in 1997, and our youngest was born just seven years later. So far it’s been quite an adventure, and it just keeps getting better. So sit back and enjoy the ride.

And in case you like what you see here, we should also note that one of us (”dad”) runs a personal finance weblog called FiveCentNickel where he writes under the pseudonym “nickel”. If you’re at all interested in personal finance (and even if you’re not!), you should drop by and check it out.
