our theatre was bought out by AMC. after the change they got rid of Mommy And Me nights. Makes me sad.

Great collection of discount movie sources, I linked to this post in one of my own.

I would also add that in the summer time there are also lots of movies shown outside of the traditional movie theater. Sometimes these are put on by the city park service, or neighborhood associations, even some child-friendly restaurants offer movies to get more bodies in the door. Your local paper will usually have notices about events like this, and if not, there’s always google…

Thanks so much! My 7 month old may be too young for movies (can we say the annoying screaming baby while you are trying to watch?) but I can take my younger sisters to keep them from being couped up in their house all summer.
