Tonsilectomy and Adenoidectomy: No More Ear Infections?

Written by dad - 2 Comments

It’s really too early to say for sure that our problems are gone, but… Our son came down with his first cold since having his tonsils and adenoids removed. And guess what? No ear infection. Woohoo!

Given all the troubles we’ve had in the past, including multiple sets of ear tubes, we’re hoping that we’ve finally turned the corner.

Fingers crossed…

(Or maybe I should cross my eyes.)

  1. Keep posting about your son’s recovery–after your blog posts I took my 3 1/2 year old to an ENT who was shocked by his tonsils. He’s getting a T&A and ear tubes on May 15th. I’m following your developments!

Thanks for all the great posts.

  2. My 2 3/4 year old had a t&a done three weeks ago, and has also come down with flu. It stayed as flu, but his 6 month old brother went one better and is recuperating in hospital from bronchial pneumonia.
