Brings back memories when I had a retainer. I didn&#039;t lose mine, my brother stepped on it and broke it.

Working in restaurants, I&#039;ve seen so many retainers being thrown away and later the busboy having to go through the trash, because the child hid it under a napkin, but 9 times out of 10 we were able to find it.

Two weeks is a long time, that&#039;s great your son&#039;s mouth didn&#039;t shift too much and the retainer still fit.</description>

		<description>Considering I&#039;m female and i lost both my retainers and glasses as a child, well I don&#039;t think it&#039;s sex specific.  I recall leaving my retainer and glasses at a hotel as a kid and our mad rush back when we had a flight to catch.</description>
