Smoking Decreases Odds of Having a Boy?

According to researchers in Great Britain, smoking decreases the chance of having a male baby by as much as half. Interestingly, the researchers found that that both active smoking and second-hand smoke play a role. While the exact reason for this remains unknown, it appears that the chemicals in cigarette smoke can stop male embyros from implanting in the womb.

  1. I’ve read about that before; I think I have read that excessive caffeine and alcohol have similar results. Basically, chemically altering your body makes it that much more difficult to have boys.
