Parenting Injury: I’m Getting Too Old For This

Written by dad - 3 Comments

I feel kind of stupid writing this, but… Apparently even at the tender young age of 35, I’m getting too old for this parenting thing. I’m not sure how this happened, but sometime over the past several weeks I’ve developed something akin to golfer’s elbow. In short, the inside of my left elbow hurts. The odd thing is that the only time that it really bothers me is when I pick up one of our kids (primarily our two year old). Perhaps I’ve stumbled onto a new medical condition? Toddler Elbow.

  2. I can identify with that… I think I have toddler’s back. I’m only 36, but have to keep reminding myself that I just can’t go slinging 26 pounds around over and over without injuring myself!
