Catalog Junky

In the first couple of months that we lived in our new house, we received some mail intended for the previous owners. However, we managed to forward it to them and all was well. What’s truly amazing, however, is the plethora of catalog deliveries they handed down to us with no forwarding expected. Good gracious! We get at least one new catalog every day. Save a tree, why don’t ya? Somehow we escaped the catalog deluge at our previous house via an opt out list as well as the fact that it was new construction, and no companies had our address.

Unfortunately, the catalog companies are drawing me in. Don’t tell my husband, but I LOVE the home decor catalogs, for obvious reasons (new house, new decor). I haven’t ordered anything yet, because I’m afraid of becoming a catalog junkie! Lucky for him, the kid apparel catalogs don’t float my boat. Most of them are intended for little girls anyway. One thing’s for sure, shopping from a catalog sure beats a trip to the mall with four boys in tow. Now if I could just remember which catalog has the comforter I liked so well…
