Selling Babies on eBay

Written by dad - One Comment

Do you want to have children while avoiding the inconvenience of pregnancy? No problem, just check eBay. According to a recent news article that I just ran across, an auction went up last week under the title “Baby for Sale – unwanted – already have two.” It then went on to state:

Unwanted Baby! It’s a girl of two months, comes with full history since birth.

Drinks lots of milk and is very smiley. I do not want it. Its messey and smells a lot. Bid now before I flush it down the toilet. No returns!!!

While bidding started at just one pound (no word on shipping), there were no bids. Maybe they would’ve had more luck if they didn’t focus on the messiness and odor in their listing… I’m guessing that the no return policy didn’t help things, either. It remains unclear whether or not this auction was a joke (I sure hope it was), but police are still looking into it.

Hmmm… I guess this would be one way of adding a girl to our flock of boys.
