		<description>Good thing you got away with only $3.  Like saving advice said, you can start small but then they get to wanting more money for their efforts.

On the whole, though, I&#039;m not against paying someone for doing something-- since they will be doing it all their lives.</description>

		<description>Yea, I had my run in with this... and believe me, it works.  I told my daughter I would give her $10 per A and $5 per B each semester on her report card.  I forgot how many classes they have.  Now, I am not sure if the money really made a difference, as she is just a good student, but she sure on top of how much I owed her.  My middle child is starting first grade this year, so we will see how it fares with her.</description>

		<description>ah yes, bribing kids to get them to do things. While certainly no harm was done here and it is a good tactic on occassion, it is not something that you want to get into the habit of doing.</description>
