Huh? What’s That? A Pull-Up Rash?
Just when we thought we’d seen it all… A week or two ago, our three year old developed a weird rash on his left cheek (no, not the one on his face — his left butt cheek). We couldn’t figure out what it was, so we took him to the pediatrician thinking that he might have some sort of bizarre skin affliction. Turns out he had a ‘Pull-Up rash‘. In retrospect, it make sense. He still wears Pull-Ups at night, and the rash basically followed the elastic around the back of the leg opening. The cure? 1% hyrdocortisone creme. And now we have a new goal in life… To be the #1 Google search result for the term Pull-Up rash.

Well, you only have about 100,000 sites to beat out for the term pull-up rash; that’s certainly not insurmountable.
Comment by Blaine Moore — Jan 19th 2006 @ 8:32 amIf you put quotes around it (as in “pull-up rash“), that number drops to 5. So we may make number #1 for the quoted version the next time Google stops by. But we have our eyes on the prize, and want to make #1 for the unquoted version.
Yeah, but how many people actually would use the quotes? Unless you are buying adwords, I doubt that it is a very high percentage. I would guess than a third of a percent, although I don’t know for sure. I doubt that Google would tell you if you asked.
Comment by Blaine Moore — Jan 20th 2006 @ 8:59 amWell, we’re up to number six out of nearly 100,000.
Good deal. You will have to let us know how many search hits you actually get from people looking for the term pull-up rash.
